What People's Say About Place

mom and pop shop, great price for the value. Highly recommend the wonton soup and the buns, tastes like home. We ate very very well for just ~$25. Great service as well!

The lady there only spoke Mandarin Chinese, I tried speaking Cantonese but she looked at me like I had 3 heads. Luckily, there was a customer there that knew English so she helped me order. I just kinda pointed at the stuff at the front and was like "How do you eat this?" And she ordered for me. I got -Stuffed Tianjin Pancake $6 -Soymilk $2 -Meat buns $6 FOR 10!!! -Egg $1 Everything was really good, it's been a couple of years since I had a tea marinated egg so that made me really happy. Of course I had to get fresh soymilk, cause I love it, and now my roomate is in love with it. There's just nothing like it. The Tianjin-style pancake was very interesting, never had it before, but was pretty good! Inside was: -kelp -shredded potato -preserved vegetables -minced meat & pickled green beans The only thing I wished is that the potatoes were actually cooked through. But idk how to communicate that to the restraunt for some constructive critisism. I would rate this place a 8/10 only because of the potato. Everyone was really friendly and service is very quick! Also there is plenty of seating inside if you wish to sit! Also I saw on Google Maps that this place is under new ownership as of 5 months ago and apparently they cleaned up alot. So give them a try!

The pancakes(jian bing guo zi)at this restaurant are absolutely delicious, especially when paired with fritters! If you want to take them to the next level, try adding some ham—it makes the flavor even more irresistible!

Authentic food and quick service. Tianjin style breakfast. Buns, pancakes and soy milk flavors are pretty universal. local style food worth anyone’s try.

Fantastic breakfast spot with authentic Northeastern and Tianjin flavors! The restaurant is now under new management and has been recently renovated — everything feels clean, fresh, and inviting. It still has the same great taste I remember, just with a more modern and comfortable atmosphere. They serve classic dishes like Roujiamo (肉夹馍), Tianjin-style steamed buns (天津包子), and crispy sugar fritters (糖油饼) and in house made soy milk — all freshly made and packed with flavor. You can really feel the family-owned warmth in both the food and the service. The vibe is cozy and welcoming. They open early at 6 AM and close at 3 PM, making it a perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. The location is excellent, with plenty of street parking. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back!
